Back to school day!

Jordon was very excited to go back to school. He got the teacher he really wanted, this teacher is very into science and so is Jordon so he was thrilled. His first day went good, he said he loved it!









Austins first day! We had decided to home school Austin because he had a really hard first grade year. We signed him up and were waiting for his material to show up when I got an email saying that he was on a waiting list and that it could take months and to find alternative schooling. So i called the public school and asked to get him in but he had to wait a day. I was so nervous for Austin to go to school but he was so excited! He had a great first day, he said no boys were mean to him. Some girls however picked on him but i said it's just because they like you!:} He had a great day and loved his teacher so I hope this positive attitude stays.

We had planed on putting the girls in preschool but as the time drew near we realized they were just a little to little to start. The teacher thought that starting next year would be better. So how do I all of a sudden tell these girls they weren't going to school especially after they got backpacks and a new outfit. So I came up with telling them we were homeschooling. I found preschool homeschooling kits at costco and told them we were going to homeschool soon. So on the first day of school for Jordon we had preschool. More below.
People ask me why I get them matching outfits cause there not twins but why not? Really I have always wanted twins so I find it fun to have them match but I also do it becuase there are allot less fights if I just get all the same clothes for them. I also do this when we are going out in a crowed place so I can look for one outfit and not two, works good! Plus look how darn cute they are!

These girls sure keep a smile on my face!

Learning went well for about 6 minutes and then they got annyoyed. Jen stop telling me what to do, Jen I dont wanna follow the lines. Katie says I hate homeschool. Real nice, they did have fun though and we will conitue having these learning session but it will be more for fun than a structered learing time.

Gabby likes to take her time and make sure to color in all the lines. She likes to do things just right even if it take along time to do. She is a very smart girl and I think that when she goes to school she is going to do very well.



Katie likes to hurry and move onto the next thing as fast as she can. She likes to always have something new in front of her. I have a feeling she will have a harder time in school only because its always her way or the highway and she will have to learn in school very quickly that things wont always go her way. Katie is a smart little girl and I think with some structure she will do very good in school.
