Jordons birthday!

My baby boy turned 10 years old on April 22nd. I cant believe it. A little more than ten years ago I was sitting in an emergency room because I thought I had a urinary tract infection, I was in allot of pain. When the lady came in she said I'm sorry to tell you this but your pregnant. I was only 17 and my boyfriend now hubby Rick and I were living apart as we tried to figure things out. I immediately started crying and freaking out. The lady said we need to talk about your options. She said there is always adoption or abortion, I immediately said no I'm keeping my baby. I wont lie, having Jordon was the hardest thing I've ever done. I lost all my friends and suffered from postpartum depression that was taking over my life. I knew I had to do what ever I had to to raise my son and make the best life that Rick and I could for him. I love Rick so much for being such an amazing father and sticking with me through the real tough first few months. All though it was extremely hard I would never change the fact that I got pregnant so young. I love Jordon and I'm so thankful to have him.


For Jordons Birthday we woke up early and headed to corks donuts as we do every year for his birthday. I let him pick out whatever donut he would like, and he choose a good one! After he got home from school we took him to red robin for some yummy food! We of course had them sing happy birthday to him, which he loved! We ended the night with a birthday song and chesse cake. The next day Jordon and his friend went to see how to train your dragon in 3D and we ended the night with pizza and cupcakes. He sure had a great Birthday!

This is Jordons very good friend Berry. I call him Jordons bodyguard. No ones gonna mess with Jordon with him around that's for sure. Berry's a good kid and we enjoy having him visit.
